Reason Joined Be Fit:
To elevate my fitness level, develop endurance, and lose body fat.

How Be Fit Helped: 
Be Fit has helped me become “fitter” and has made “being fit” part of my daily routine. Eating healthy and working out in the gym are now a part of my lifestyle rather than a special weekend event.  Ever since I joined, I have become better at managing my food choices and portions, as well as doing exercises in the right way.  The rigorous training and food/exercise logs done over a 10-week period is very effective in consolidating what you learn in this program.

Favorite Thing About Be Fit:
Without doubt, the experts who train us. Laura, Cliff, Emily, Damien, and Steve are simply terrific! Their knowledge is outstanding. Their dedication and effort to tailor the nutrition and exercise program to your needs and body is inspiring.

More importantly, they are extremely kind people who make Be Fit a fun program. I may have lost some fat and shrunk my waist size, but I have certainly gained something very precious – great friends! God bless them all!

Reason Joined Be Fit: 
I have always been active joining group  classes, running, doing yoga, but I was not able to lose weight in a disciplined and consistent way. Be Fit has been the perfect opportunity to learn more about how to associate the right diet to the physical activity I was already doing.

How Be Fit Helped: 
The most valuable benefit has been learning about mindful and healthy nutrition. I used to eat out a lot and not pay attention to portion sizes and food combinations. The recipes, meal planning templates, and team classes helped me to be more careful, while still enjoying food and the social moments of eating. Of course, there is a bit of sacrifice if you want to lose weight, but doing it in such an informed way has made it a daily habit and I have found it easier to keep as my own lifestyle.

Favorite Thing About Be Fit: 
​I loved having a personal plan with my personal trainer (TJ Chella) and dietitian (Alexandra Regalado), while at the same time being part of a team. I’m a goal-driven person and knowing that there are small challenges every week definitely motivated me - if I did not have the right energy, some team members would motivate me to do good for the team’s sake. Not to forget the meditation part of the program. I always wanted to learn. I made more time for it and explored different ways to do it. ​

Team: "Fit-RADS"

Reason Joined Be Fit:
In a busy life, I needed an excuse every day to exercise and not excessively snack. Be Fit sounded like an excellent opportunity to change my diet and get me started on an exercise plan.

How Be Fit Helped:
It offered a multi-pronged approach with supervision of dedicated nutritionist and personal trainer. I learned how to choose wisely when it came to food, including learning to read the granular details of food labels and portions we consume. The best part was my nutritionist (Laura Kim) giving me options that improved my understanding of choosing healthy substitutes over more conventional fast food or "junk food." The relaxation responses were soothing and have become part of my routine. My personal trainer (Stephen Power) was very kind and showed a lot of patience. He taught me numerous exercises including a few simple ones, which could be easily done at home. At every personal training session, he pushed me to outperform myself.
 
Favorite Thing About Be Fit:
The way it included good diet and exercise habits and brought me closer to my fitness goal.
