Reason Joined Be Fit: In a busy life, I needed an excuse every day to exercise and not excessively snack. Be Fit sounded like an excellent opportunity to change my diet and get me started on an exercise plan.
How Be Fit Helped: It offered a multi-pronged approach with supervision of dedicated nutritionist and personal trainer. I learned how to choose wisely when it came to food, including learning to read the granular details of food labels and portions we consume. The best part was my nutritionist (Laura Kim) giving me options that improved my understanding of choosing healthy substitutes over more conventional fast food or "junk food." The relaxation responses were soothing and have become part of my routine. My personal trainer (Stephen Power) was very kind and showed a lot of patience. He taught me numerous exercises including a few simple ones, which could be easily done at home. At every personal training session, he pushed me to outperform myself.
Favorite Thing About Be Fit: The way it included good diet and exercise habits and brought me closer to my fitness goal.
